At the Australian Swimming Championships 2021, Australian titles will be awarded to open and top athletes. The prelims are combined with three finals per event, with the youngest age swimming first. See Australia’s best open and prime swimmers compete for the honor of the Australian champions. In a first for Australian swimming, the prelims will take place at night and the finals in the morning to give Australian swimmers a chance to repeat what they will experience in Tokyo.

As the event was canceled in 2020 and So much is at stake in 2021, this Australian championship is one you won’t want to miss.

South East Queensland is expected to host the Australian Swimming Championships and the Australian Age Swimming Championships when they take place in April 2021 return to the Gold Coast after being canceled due to the effects of COVID-19 in 2020.

The return to the Gold Coast Aquatic Center marks the first national event in the coastal city since the Australian Swimming Trials were selected for the Commonwealth Games in 2018 through Hancock Prospecting Australian Swimming Trials.

The age championships will be April 5-12 and the Australian Me national championships will take place from April 14th to 18th.

The country’s open multi-class swimmers and Paralympic participants will compete for national titles at the start of the Australian Age Champs. This is an important opportunity to race before the June exams – marking the start of the competition on April 5th.

The Australian Swimming Championships will bring the Olympic hopefuls a precious success as they have the opportunity to make the morning finals to swim to prepare for what they will experience in Tokyo.

Senior swimmers from all over the country have an added incentive as the meeting will be a selection event for the Junior World Championships and the Oceania Championships. </ The live stream of the Australian Swimming Championships is available on Amazon Prime Video. They recently signed a partnership with Amazon Prime Video and their two events in April will be the first ever opportunity for Australians and people around the world to watch Australians swim through Amazon Prime Video.

Amazon and Swimming Australia have signed a deal which allows the Australian Swimming Championships to be streamed live on the company’s streaming platform for the next two years.

The minimum age for open events is 13 years for women and 14 years for men from the first day of the competition.

Medal ceremonies for this meeting will be held in a compressed format during each morning session.

Swimming Australia monitored how swimmers performed over the summer due to COVID-19. We are happy to announce that we have revised the QTs listed on the Participant’s tab below to allow more swimmers to qualify. It was a difficult year in our community.
