The warriors have one Glaring Matt Dufty error in the goal area of the dragons exploited to start their second try of the game.
The fifth eighth Cody Nikorima threaded a cultivator from 15 meters away on the right edge, and as the striker Paul Turner through the bench Steamed, Dufty tried to ground the ball, but failed and Turner fell.
Nikorima then converted the attempt to extend the warriors’ lead to 12: 4 in the 17th minute.
The St. George Illawarra Dragons are looking for their fifth straight win as they face the New Zealand Warriors at the Netstrata Jubilee Stadium this afternoon.
