CM – Major England players could miss a part of the Ashes series if families are refused entry to Australia


Some players from England could miss a part of the Ashes series in Australia by the end of the year if their families are banned from traveling due to Covid restrictions.

Australia has a limit on the number of non-nationals that it can each Month, and it seems certain that only players and team supervisors for the duration of the Ashes tour, from the end of November to the end of January, whose families are not allowed.

England’s multi-format players like Ben Stokes, Jos Buttler, Mark Wood, Jofra Archer, Jonny Bairstow and Sam Curran could play in the UAE from mid-October until the T20 World Cup
