A man from Sydney was arrested by counterterrorism police after he was accused of distributing pro-Islamic state material on the internet.
The 34-year-old was spotted by shortly before 8:00 a.m. on Friday of the Tactical Operations Unit in Caringbah, south of the city.
The NSW Joint Counter Terrorism Team began investigations after reports that the man shared extremist views on multiple online platforms.
