Matthew Perry blurred his words and stared at a thousand meters in a video to promote the eagerly awaited reunion of the « friends ». Fans were concerned for his well-being.
A clip showing the 51-year-old actor with a strange look and a labored speech pattern was posted on the People magazine website and on YouTube on Wednesday to promote the To advertise the HBO Max Special, which filmed in April and will air May 27.
Perry appeared with former co-stars Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer and Matt LeBlanc as them talked about what it’s like to get back together to re-shoot the iconic sitcom.
At one point, Perry sounded fuzzy when answering a question about whether he’d ever look for a souvenir after the show ended in 2004 the old set.

His problems reached a dangerous point after a 1997 jet ski accident made him dependent on Vicodin.
Perry has confessed that he doesn’t remember filming multiple seasons – in which viewers could see his drastic weight loss. Until 2001 he drank vodka by the quart and came to work to hang out.

In September 2018, the actor turned out discharged from hospital after recovering from gastrointestinal surgery for three months.
He is now happily engaged to literary manager Molly Hurwitz, who accompanied him to see him again.
As The Post revealed last month, Perry had special support from Castmate Cox, 56, as well as a sober trainer who lived near him in Malibu.
Schwimmer, who played Ross Geller on the show, told People in Wednesday’s story: “Over the years we have all faced different obstacles and challenges, and I think these times it was nice to reach out and touch the ground and have a phone call. ”
