Liverpool midfielder Marko Grujic has made a permanent move to Porto, announced the Premier League club.
The Serbian international Grujic (25), Jürgen Klopp’s first signing as a Liverpool coach in 2016, made his debut only 16 games in all competitions in their five years at Anfield.
Liverpool said on their official website: « The Serbian international is returning to the Portuguese club after 39 games and two goals on loan in 2020-21 . «
» Grujic joined Klopp’s squad for this month’s training camp in Austria and will now leave to work permanently with Porto. «
Grujic, who was also on loan at Hertha Berlin for two seasons, agreed to join Liverpool from Red Star Belgrade in January 2016 before making the move later that year.
His eight Premier League appearances for Liverpool were all substitutes and he played for eight more opportunities. He spent the second half of the 2017/18 season on loan to Cardiff.
