The « Slide Away » singer took the stage during Thursday’s music festival and opted for a retro-inspired look to match her mullet haircut. The ensemble paired a blue Alled-Martinez branded « Roy Halston » t-shirt with matching blue and white short shorts.
When it came to shoes, Cyrus rounded off the retro moment with a set of silver Go -Go boots off. Go-go boots were a hit in the 60s and 70s with their raised toes, lacquer-like upper and block heel. Even though you might not see her all over the catwalks today, the style is still great to complete any retro costume (from a go-go dancer to Britney Spears in « Oops … I Did It Again » ) or to give an everyday look a bold flair.
The own pair of « Hannah Montana » alumna came with a plateau metallic silver twist that ended just below the knee. The silhouette measures nearly 5 inches in height and resembles similar silhouettes from Cyrus’ go-to brand, Gucci. The « Last Song » actress has also worked with Converse on a number of proud shoe collections.
The Converse collaborator has also been vegan for years, which has resulted in her often adopting cruelty-free clothing.
