At least that’s what Preston Johnson did during game two of the College World Series Championship Finals.
The Mississippi State pitcher was excellent in Omaha on Tuesday, relieving starter Houston Harding in fifth inning. However, he made a huge mistake when he saw Vanderbilt’s Maxwell Romero Jr.
Watching the ball fly away, Johnson immediately knew it was lost. Johnson stared at the trajectory of the ball and sent it a small wave goodbye with an exaggerated sad face.
