CM – MSC Cruises introduces new property management system

MSC Cruises has introduced a new on-board property management system to create a seamless connection between its shore operations and its fleet of ships.

Hopefully the tool will improve internal efficiency and tailor guest service and digitized information for the crew.

The new customer-centered and digitized system offers advantages through increased flexibility and automation with a cloud platform that enables global configuration across the entire MSC Cruises fleet and across different departments.

On board the MSC Virtuosa , the flagship of the fleet, the cloud-based software from Hamburg’s Otalio was used for the first time.

The modern architecture of the property management system offers scalability and flexibility, so that many administrative tasks can now be carried out by teams on land in order to deal with new To open up possibilities for fleet management.

The crew on board can centralize all guest information in one place, e.g. B. Purchasing preferences, complaint tracking, and Voyagers Club membership status.

The crew also benefits from real-time updates from land as well as options to digitize processes such as housekeeping rosters and menu prices.
