CM – NASA missile launch Tuesday morning will be visible from Maryland

BALTIMORE (WJZ) – If you missed the last sun clips from the Ring of Fire, this is your chance to see something else fascinating in the sky.

Tuesday morning at 7 a.m., a rocket from the Wallops Flight Facility of the NASA launch in Virginia near Chincoteague Island.

The missile’s firing streaks should be visible from almost anywhere in Maryland for about 30 to 60 seconds after launch.

The missile will have three National Reconnaissance National Safety Payloads Office carry and support and manage satellites for the Department of Defense.
