CM – New COVID cases in Tweed, Lismore and Casino

Twelve new cases of COVID-19 have been identified in the northern NSW Local Health District.

« Eight new cases were confirmed in residents of the local health district north of NSW by 8pm on October 1st. Six cases come from Lismore, one in Kyogle and one in the casino. All cases are linked to the Kyogle cluster, « said Lynne Weir, acting chief executive of Northern NSW Local Health District.

 » Another four cases were confirmed overnight, three in the Tweed area and one in Kyogle. These four cases will be included in official NSW Health coverage tomorrow.

« Anyone who has visited the following venues at the times listed is considered casual and must be tested and isolated until they get a negative result » said Ms. Weir.
