Today all raiders were ready to get on a plane and fly to Cleveland to face the Browns. Well, some of the browns anyway. The team put almost half of their team on the Reserve / COVID-19 list, including the top two quarterbacks. And the positive tests keep coming.
So when the Raiders players showed up at the facility ready for their road trip and were instructed to await further instructions as the NFL and NFLPA are considering postponing the game.
The Raiders fought the idea of postponing the game and some of their players came out loud.
But in the end it was decided to postpone as the players continued to test positive and named it a Health and Safety Issue.
So what was a game in a short week on Saturday at 1:30 pm is now a long week. Well, something like that. The raiders were still preparing for the short week. Now they have a short week next week through no fault of their own. So you can understand their frustrations. But that can only be the best.
