Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama says this is to enable Fijians to make their lives as safe as possible.
Bainimarama adds that non-work social gatherings should not take place, but that companies should remain open > However, he says these companies need to have the best COVID-19 plans and customers need to view a contact tracing app before entering the business premises.
The Prime Minister says officials who live outside of the security area and are in work in these areas, report to the nearest office outside of Nadi and Lautoka.
