Norway has abandoned all of its COVID-19 measures, even social distancing, in a radical move with still unclear consequences.
On Friday, the Nordic nation’s government announced it was time was to « live as usual » with Covid-19 after enduring some kind of restriction for 561 days, be it in terms of capacity limits for venues or orders for staying at home.
Now Norwegians can restaurants, nightclubs, Attending sporting events and everything else at full capacity with social distancing thrown out the window.
« It’s been 561 days since we put the toughest measures in Norway in peacetime … Now is the time for one return to normal everyday life, « Prime Minister Erna Solberg told reporters.
