CM – NSW Health says reports that supermarkets will close for 4 days are « false »

« NSW Health can confirm this is not the case and is reminding people to use only trustworthy and credible sources for information about COVID-19.

However, NSW Health encourages buyers to check in their local area or within 6 miles of their home.

Greater Sydney residents can buy their groceries in person, but « only one person per household is allowed to leave their home to buy groceries or other goods and services each day ».

NSW Health allows people to bring loved ones into stores when they cannot be left at home alone.
