Investigators from the Melbourne Divisional Response Unit have identified the four men believed to have been involved in an attack during a soccer game at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) on Anzac Day.
Investigators believe the men were involved in a verbal argument with a 27-year-old man around 6 p.m. on April 25 as they watched Collingwood and Essendon play.
At the end of the game, the group approached the victim and is said to have attacked him before a man pushed him to the ground.
Two men, a 29-year-old Ferntree Gully man and a 31-year-old Boronia man, presented themselves at a police station this morning.
Two other men have been identified and will be approached by the police at a later date.
