Child protection officials are investigating the deaths of twins in a house in Cairns on Monday, with paramedics unable to resuscitate the babies.
Queensland police confirmed an investigation was ongoing, which was reportedly Monday morning before the Carmeny Court on Aumuller Street.
The babies that needed medical attention could not be saved despite the ambulance crews.
