CM – Police raid Inter Milan offices as part of a financial investigation

MILAN: Serie A champions Inter Milan were the youngest club whose offices were raided by the financial police on Tuesday as part of an ongoing investigation into false accounts.

Authorities had last month searched the Juventus offices to gather information on player transfers and agent deals between 2019 and this year. Inter said the documents he requested relate to the sale of players in the 2017-18 and 2018-19 seasons.

« The Milan Public Prosecutor has made a request to verify that the relevant capital gains are correct in the accounts were recorded, « said Inter in a statement. « The club’s financial statements were drawn up to the strictest accounting standards.
