VATICAN CITY: Pope Francis called on Sunday to end the violence in annexed East Jerusalem, where numerous Palestinians were injured in clashes between Palestinians and the Israeli police.

Finally, the Argentine Pope offered a few words for a small crowd of people with Colombian flags en who came to St. Peter’s Square and were hoping for a clue about the demonstrations and clashes in their country.
« I would also like to express my concern about the tension and violent clashes in Colombia, which have left many wounded . There are many Colombians here, let’s pray for your country, « he said.
