CM – Prediction Tigers vs. Indians: Hot offensive makes Detroit the choice

The offensive, red-hot tigers beat the Indians on Saturday evening.

After a rocky start to the season, the Detroit Tigers have been the top offensive in the MLB in the clash with the Indians on Sunday since the beginning of July and meet rookie Eli Morgan.

Morgan has seven of his eight starts at least three runs and allowed 12 home runs in 37 ½ innings. That includes seven home runs in 16½ innings in four home starts with an 8.82 home ERA.

Tiger’s starter Tyler Alexander started the season in the bullpen, but was recently put into rotation. Detroit is 5-1 in its six starts, and has allowed two runs or less in five of them.

The Tigers have entered the series since July averaging 5.2 runs per game, up from 3.9 runs per game previously. The Indians have the third worst ERA in the AL since the beginning of July (5.14).

The Indians have been allowing an AL-worst 1.8 homerun per nine innings since the beginning of July and Detroit have climbed 6-3 in in the last nine games the series, so that the Tigers will continue their winning streak.
