CM – Premier gets push – but not for Covid-19

Annastacia Palaszczuk has finally rolled up her sleeve after days of indignation – but not for the reason you might think.

Queensland Prime Minister and Chief Health Officer Dr. Jeannette Young, received the flu vaccine Monday afternoon.

Ms. Palaszczuk was under increasing pressure to get the vaccine after becoming Australia’s only candidate prime minister who didn’t roll up her sleeve.

Though she was over At 50 years old, it is unclear whether she will receive the AstraZeneca vaccine or the Pfizer vaccine.

Ms. Palaszczuk said it would depend on going to Tokyo with Prime Minister Scott Morrison in the coming weeks.

The Queensland government will open 14 community hubs across the state from July to deliver the Covid-19 vaccine to as many people as possible.

« The rollout will pick up pace as supplies continue to grow are available, « said Ms. Palaszczuk.

People aged 40 to 49 can also sign up to get vaccinated to ensure supplies are not wasted.
