A producer on YouTube comedian Friendlyjordies was charged after allegedly persecuting and intimidating NSW Deputy Prime Minister John Barilaro.
NSW police confirmed the arrest and charges of 21-year-old Kristo Langker in a statement to NCA NewsWire on Monday. The arrest was followed by a complaint from the Deputy Prime Minister.
« He was taken to Newton Police Station and charged with stalking / intimidation on two counts to cause fear or physical harm. »
The restraint unit claims that one crime was committed at Macquarie University on April 19, while the second was believed to have been committed in Sydney on June 4, hours before the arrest.
Mr To appear in Newtown District Court on June 6th.
Mr. Barilaro is suing Mr. Shanks for defamation over a series of videos accusing him of corruption.
Mr. Langker’s attorneys, Xenophon Davis, shared NCA NewsWire with that they will also represent Mr Shanks in the case of defamation.
