With Rick and Morty Season 5 so close, one of the cartoon’s producers has confirmed that a movie is in the pipeline.
Fans have been patiently waiting for the trippy comedy to return, which will be released in the US later this month – a little earlier than E4 in the UK – with all episode titles already revealed.
Producer Scott Marder, writer Dan Harmon and Spencer Grammer – aka the voice of Summer – have now suggested that Rick and Morty will eventually make it to the big screen.
« It would be disheartening, I wouldn’t be shocked if someone got out of the pipe one day, » said Scott.
« Me feel that every episode is a movie. I would love to see what a movie would be, I feel like we pack so much in.
Spencer explained, “It would have to be something big – like an interactive 3D movie that also has a theme park. I don’t know if you could just do a straight movie.

Rick and Morty Season 5 Episode Title Revealed
Creator Justin Roiland confirmed that while no plans have been set in stone, talk of a Rick and Morty movie is a case of « when » rather than « when ».
In 2018, Adult Swim commissioned another 70 episodes that led Rick and Morty to seven seasons.
Co-creator Dan Harmon announced that the seventh season is currently in the works before the sixth season It aired at all.
Rick and Morty can be streamed on Netflix and aired at E4 in the UK.
