Liel Abada’s fourth goal of the season gave Ange Postecoglou’s side the lead at Dingwall, but Jack Baldwin’s equalizer in the second half seemed to give the hosts a point
Celtic’s chances of recovery were headed when Carl Starfelt Regan Charles-Cook retired to receive a red card for a second bookable offense (79), but Ralston rose to close to Tom Rogic’s last Hitting the cross of the game sparked wild scenes in the away game.
The result means that the runner-up Celtic is four points behind Rangers, who beat St. Johnstone 2-0 on Wednesday ten, while Ross County is 11th with 14 points.

Ross County won their last home game against Celtic 1-0 in February of last season, ending a 10-game home league run without a win against the Hoops.
The Postecoglou’s squad line-up was ravaged by injuries and the Celtic coach made three changes to the team that defeated Motherwell over the weekend.
Celtic had won each of their last five league games away, two or more goals each time scored, but only brought to safety in the 11th by the goalkeeper of Ross County.
The guests had won nine of the last ten league games with Ross County and defeated them 3-0 at Celtic Park earlier this season, and they took the lead on 21 minutes after an extensive play.
Adam Montgomery exchanged passes with Callum McGregor before Liam Scales was spotted on the left and Abada’s low cross from close range Home knocked.
Montgomery’s deep, teasing cross confused Maynard-Brewer just to brush the woodwork when Celtic tried to turn the screw before the break, and Scales shot over from McGregor’s retreat as well.
Ross County hadn’t registered a try on Hart’s goal, and it was Celtic who threatened a second goal after the restart when Turnbull escaped Blair Spittal and tried to catch Maynard-Brewer with a bold chip that drifted far away.
Dominic Samuel was called from the bench and almost found his way to goal when his shot was blocked by Ralston, but after a resulting corner from Spittal Baldwin equalized against the course of the game.
Starfelt suffered in the 74th minute a slap in the face that threatened to end his evening prematurely, but it came moments later when referee Alan Muir made a cynical pull on Charles Cook as he neared the gate and the defender ger showed a second yellow card.
With Celtic reduced to 10 men, Ross County was responsible for completing a famous turnaround, but it was the visitors who used more space to counter. After Cameron Carter-Vickers saw his header tipped by Maynard-Brewer, it looked like the hosts had done enough to secure a point.
But Ralston stayed at the far post in the 97th minute of added time free and headed the cross of substitute Rogic to the decisive victory for the men from Postecoglou.
Next up is a date for Celtic in Hampden Park, where they will face Hibernian in the final of the Scottish League Cup. Kick-off at 3pm.
