According to the website rivianownersforum.com, the manufacturer of electric vehicles has announced that the delivery of the R1T Launch Edition will be delayed by a month and will now start in July instead of June. The forum also says that shipments of the Launch Edition will be completed by spring 2022. “For those who would like to take a test drive beforehand,” the forum wrote, “Rivian has also announced that their Drive program will begin in August and will begin in Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, Chicago, Detroit and Seattle. Additional cities will be announced at a later date.
The Drive program offers two options: a test drive at home and one on tour dates.
“For trips at home,” the forum wrote, “you have to date and set the time, then Rivian will deliver the vehicle to you. You can choose an in-depth tour by one of the team members or opt for a self-guided tour. Rivian will prioritize pre-orders over bike experiences based on expected demand. “The Owners Forum is in no way affiliated with Rivian.
