Music mogul Scooter Braun filed for divorce from wife Yael Cohen almost two weeks after Page Six announced their split.
Braun, 40, kept prominent divorce attorney Laura Wasser to be with them former clients Kim Kardashian, Angelina Jolie and Ryan Reynolds.
The court documents filed in Los Angeles on Wednesday make it clear that there is a prenuptial agreement between the businessman and the 34-year-old co-founder of Fk Cancer.
Braun is applying joint custody of his and Cohen’s three children: Jagger (6), Levi (4) and Hart (2). He has also agreed to pay spousal support to his estranged wife.
Braun – the fiery music manager who discovered Justin Bieber and was the focus of a very public argument with Taylor Swift after buying the rights to her early work – married Cohen in July 2014.
Although we publicly celebrated their anniversary on Instagram on July 6th, just days later we announced that the couple split.
While sources at the time said there were no plans for divorce, we are told that Braun ended up being the one who pulled the plug on his marriage.
Page Six also revealed this month that Braun had secretly attended an « intense psycho-spiritual retreat » months before his split with Cohen.
