Seamus Power will go into the final round in search of birdies while JT Poston chases three shots at the Barbasol Championship in Kentucky. </ The West Waterford man carded a five-under-67 on his third round due to weather conditions and shared fifth place with David Lingmerth on 16-under-par at Keene Trace Golf Club.
Confidently, Power knows that he needs a low round today to take his first win and secure his card by the end of 2023.
« Yes, my game, it’s in a good position, » said the Tooraneena man, who is on the FedEx Cup ranking is at position 123 and would like to consolidate his position in the top 125, with a maximum of three regular season events remaining, should he leave the field for the last regular season event, the Wyndham Championship.

Poston followed rounds 65 and 66 with another 66 leading with one stroke to 19 under par by Luke List, while James Hahn after a sensational round of 12 under par 60 with Joseph Bramlett in third place.
« Was he really? » Power said Hahn when asked if he would look at the leaderboards before going out.
« No, I really don’t. I didn’t even notice. It’s one of those courses. Everyone is doing birdies everywhere. It will be the same tomorrow. So yeah, no, I tried to focus on my own thing and move on from there, but that’s great. ”
Power might not need a 59 to win, but if he can, he will Get your ticket until the end of 2023 and also start at the Sentry Tournament of Champions, The Players Championship and the PGA Championship.

When asked if it might take a 59 to win, he said: « Yes, I have no idea. It’s one of those courses where you’ll try to get as many birdies as possible. I didn’t see the prediction, I suspect it will be similar. Just more of it and hopefully a few putts will come. ”
