« Mighty Ducks » star Shaun Weiss dropped his burglary charges after successfully completing a drug court program.
The Yuba County, California attorney’s office praised the former Disney star for his hard work to stay sober for more than a year and said he had « shown perseverance during his complicated recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic, » reported TMZ.
The DA added, « Shaun has regained his job and has traveled across the country doing guest appearances and signing autographs. He received tremendous support from friends and fans of the character Goldberg, whom he played in the hit ‘The Mighty Ducks’ in 1992. «
The burglary charge that was dropped stems from Weiss’ arrest in January 2020 when He was arrested while breaking into a man’s home using meth, police officers alleged.
Weiss, who was arrested for public drunkenness in August 2018, reportedly broke into a man’s garage in Van Nuys, Calif According to Marysville police, he was hit on the windshield of his car.
The LA-based cosmetic dentist told Page Six in September that Weiss went to see him to fix broken root tips, clean up infections and chipped teeth to remove.
