Nate Bjorkgren was sacked after a season on the team coaching the Indiana Pacers, sources told ESPN.
Bjorkgren was informed on Wednesday of the decision to sack him, sources said after speaking out on Tuesday management.
The Pacers are expected to seek a more experienced, established head coach after Bjorkgren lost the locker room and much of the organization in his year-long coaching year.
Indiana has a six year old this season Playoff stretch ended after the team lost 34-38 and lost to the Washington Wizards in the play-in tournament for a chance at 8th place in the Eastern Conference.
