CM – Taika Waititi finally breaks the silence after racy photos with Tessa Thompson Went Viral

The entertainment world got a big stir last May when photos of Thor: Love and Thunders Taika Waititi, Tessa Thompson and British singer-songwriter Rita Ora who were a little too intimate with each other went viral. Initially, the general belief within the Marvel fandom was that it was just a playful scenario and nothing more than the three-way kiss they shared caused a lot of controversy and ultimately led to speculation that she was actually in an open relationship Now, a month after the photos popped up and caught mainstream attention, Waititi is finally breaking his silence. In an interview with the Sydney Morning Herald, Taika spoke of the excitement surrounding the now controversial photos and although he did not exactly confirm or deny the rumored « relationship » between them, the Korg actor said he said nothing wrong with the pictures.

Taika said, « Not really. I think in the world of the internet everything goes away pretty quickly. And also, ‘Is this such a big deal?’ No, not really. I didn’t do anything wrong. It’s fine.  » Allegedly, the folks at Disney and Marvel Studios were upset by Taika’s behavior and may have actually reprimanded him and Thompson. In all honesty, it doesn’t sound too far-fetched when you consider that Haus der Maus has long protected its family-friendly image. However, I have to say that the company shouldn’t invade the personal life of its talents, especially if it doesn’t harm other people. Meanwhile, Thor: Love and Thunder will hit theaters in 2022.
