CM – Targa Tasmania’s competitor dies in a crash on the west coast


A competitor in the Targa Tasmania rally was killed in an accident on the west coast of the state.

A 68-year-old man from New South Wales was killed in an accident on the penultimate day of Targa Tasmania. </ Long-time Targa competitor Shane Navin died this morning after crashing his Mazda RX-7 at Double Barrel Creek on the Mount Arrowsmith leg of the race in 1979.
