CM – Taylor Swift Announces Staff For Next Album Via Coded Puzzle

Taylor Swift’s latest enigma for fans reveals her staff and tracklist for « Red (Taylor’s Version).

Taylor Swift did it again. The Queen of Easter Eggs tweeted a video of a series of nonsensical letters coming out of a vault to give fans clues about her upcoming re-recorded album, « Red (Taylor’s Version) ».

Swift has always loved leaving a trail of clues to their fans, but the vault videos began back in April as part of the promotion for « Fearless (Taylor’s Version) ». They’re a nod to the fact that she’s released never-before-heard songs or « songs from the vault ».

The difficulty deciphering this latest vault video is, according to Swift, « casually cruel in the name of honesty, » a reference to the lyrics in their song « All Too Well ».

If you don’t have time to decipher the puzzle yourself, this is everything you need to know.

Don’t feel bad about the gibberish in the video could not understand. It looks hopeless at first. But when you put the sequence of letters together like a crossword puzzle, some words and some names start to stand out.

One of the words that pops up is « Ronan, » a 2012 Swift single about a 4-year-old boy named Ronan who died of cancer. The single was not part of a Swift album, but this seems to confirm that Swift will re-record the song for « Red (Taylor’s version).

The crossword in and of itself is a Taylor Swift reference from the « Red » era. « Fighting with him was like doing a crossword puzzle and realizing that there was no right answer » is another song from « All Too Well ». Hidden hidden were the names of some of the titans of the music industry, including Ed Sheeran, Chris Stapleton, and Phoebe Bridgers.

Sheeran and Swift have worked together in the past and are good friends. The British singer-songwriter appeared on the original version of « Red » on the track « Everything Has Changed ». It’s good to know he’s back this time.

Stapleton and Bridgers represent very different fan bases, but both have overlaps with Swift fans. Stapleton is a country musician and Bridgers is an indie rock singer-songwriter. It will be interesting to see if Stapleton and Bridgers appear on the original tracks of “Red” or on never heard songs from the vault stupid and lazy *

Swift will finally release the full ten-minute version of « All Too Well » that the Swifites have longed for for years. She hinted at this when she announced « Red (Taylor’s Version) » on Instagram, but has now been confirmed by the crossword puzzle.

Swift will also include the track « Better Man » on the album, a song she is for the country group wrote « Little Big Town » but never recorded a version of it themselves.

Another song that Swift wrote but did not record, « Babe », will also be on the album . Swift wrote the song for country music duo « Sugarland ».

The words « Nothing New » are also included in the crossword puzzle, the title of an unreleased song Swift wrote during the « Red » era, but didn’t make it onto the album.

The relevance of some of the words found in the crossword puzzle isn’t immediately clear, which means they are likely the titles of songs never heard before.

It seems that some of the possible titles of never before heard songs are « Message in a Bottle », « Winter Nights », « About Forever », « Dial Tones » and « First Try ».

« Red (Taylor’s Version) » with total thirty songs will be out on November 19th, but if we know anything about Swift, there will surely be some goodies and surprises (and singles!) long before that.
