The decision to add Cleveland Cavaliers forward Kevin Love to this year’s Olympic line-up has certainly raised some eyebrows in the basketball community. But that controversy has since been crushed.
After two poor performances in defeat in exhibition games, the 32-year-old veteran withdrew from the team – citing a nagging injury problem from the 2020 season.
Team USA director Jerry Colangelo recently explained the love situation and admitted that he may have made a “mistake” in adding him to the list.
