CM – The best ways to bet on the 2020 European Championship quarter-finals

The 2020 European Championship has reached the quarter-finals, starting with the game between Spain and Switzerland on Friday in St. Petersburg, Russia.

The 2020 European Championship has reached the quarter-finals, starting with the game between Spain and Switzerland on Friday in St. Petersburg, Russia.

The Spaniards are at BetMGM -155 to play this game in regular time win after scoring 10 goals in the last two games and they will be a popular choice. Despite scoring a lot of goals, Spain conceded a lot as they allowed three goals against Croatia in the round of 16. « Yes » for both teams to get Propeller will be a popular choice at -110.

I think Spain has enough quality to beat a Swiss team that got over the shock of the tournament when they did Defeated France on penalties. This game could have put a lot of strain on this Swiss team, both physically and mentally, and it will be a very difficult task for manager Vladimir Petkovic to move his players back so quickly. I like that Spain win this 3-1 which is available for good looking 1250.

The other game on Friday in Munich seems to be a classic between Italy and Belgium on paper, but there the Belgians without them injured captains Kevin De Bruyne and Eden Hazard go into this quarter-finals, it may not live up to the hype.

Italy were a very popular pick to win Euro 2020 and are 140 to the last four with a win in regular time, which was a popular choice. Belgium are 220 to win, but without De Bruyne and Hazard I just can’t see how the team is going to do it in regular time. I think the Belgians will try to keep their defense very tight and that could go over the distance.

The 90 minute draw attracted some money at 210 and it really wouldn’t come as a surprise if that happened, but I want to bet against goals. Belgium have a reputation for scoring goals and being entertaining but that has to change without their two most creative players. Surprisingly, fewer than 2.5 goals were scored in four of the last six games.

We know how strong the Italians are defensively. In the last 12 games they have not conceded a goal in regular time. Under 2.5 the way in this massive quarter-finals is -175, with a bit of pizza money even with no goalscorer in the game at 525.

Also on Saturday in Baku, Azerbaijan, it will be difficult to score goals when Denmark face the Czech Republic.

Denmark have played their last two games at a very fast pace, being on their toes from the first whistle, scoring four goals in a combined 8-1 win over Russia and Wales. I would expect the Danes to continue this high intensity against the Czechs, which I am not convinced of despite the 2-0 win against the Netherlands.

The Danes are 110 to win this in regular time. If the game were played in Copenhagen it would be a bet I would like to have because I think the Danes are of enough quality. But they do have some injury concerns and that is what keeps me from taking the current price. This is an unexpected semi-final chance for both nations, and I expect it to be a tight and nervous game.

All of the Czechs’ games at Euro 2020 have conceded under 2.5 goals, and since the temperatures in Baku at kick-off likely to be in the low 90s, I like the goals below 2.5 again. However, that is offered at -190 which is not a price I would suggest. Instead, I’m happier to score under 2 goals at 109 in the Asian goal markets, with the bet that there will be exactly two goals.

In the final quarter-finals, an expectant Englishman travels to Rome to face Ukraine. After England’s 2-0 win against archenemy Germany on Tuesday at Wembley Stadium, the Three Lions were set up as the new 2/1 favorite to win Euro 2020.

Before we look at England’s chances for the first to get carried away with the big trophy since 1966, it has to beat Ukraine first. I’m not at all surprised that England are listed as a very warm 250 favorites to win in 90 minutes.

Immediately after England’s win over Germany, Ukraine were embroiled in a brutal, long extra-time win over Sweden. With the rapid turnaround, it will be difficult for the team to get up again. Ukraine showed their talent in patches in this tournament, but their performance in the last group game against Austria was poor and I don’t think England has anything to fear here.

The English have yet to reach their full potential in this championship show what a scary thought is, but what impressed me is the shape of their defense and goalkeeper Jordan Pickford.

England have not allowed a goal in four games at Euro 2020. I also can’t imagine anything going on in Rome on Saturday. Instead of England winning by -250, I prefer even money on England to win zero. If you are not offered a market, I can see the Three Lions win that 2-0 at 5/1.
