China-Pakistan Economic Corridor Authority chairman Asim Saleem Bajwa said the country has begun to take advantage of projects being carried out under the CPEC.
Speaking to a private He said the news channel said that with the start of the second phase of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, its benefits will be linked to job creation for local people.
The chairman of the CPEC agency said a number of infrastructure projects had already been completed while two major projects for CPEC’s western alignment, the Hakla-Dera Ismail Khan and Basima-Khuzdar highways, would be completed this year.
He said work on all other sections of the western route such as DI Khan to Zhob, Zhob to Quetta, Quetta to Khuzdar, Khuzdar to Awaran and Hoshab had already begun and would soon be completed.
