Fans of New York Rap have been waiting for the showdown between The LOX and Dipset on Tuesday evening in Verzuz (August 3rd). The legendary groups have been throwing playful shots at each other for weeks and are now giving the fans another blessing before their highly anticipated showdown.
Hours before the battle on Tuesday (August 3rd), The LOX paid Angie Martinez a visit on their radio show on Power 105.1, where they talked about the upcoming battle and pointed to important plans after the Verzuz.
« We’re going on tour together, » Styles told Angie. “The LOX and Dipset tour. That gets sick. It’s in September. «
Styles P added, » There will be merch, there will be products, there will be music, we will create the stepping stone for it. «
Angie asked if the tour was going ahead the battle was in the works or if the Verzuz inspired it, and Jadakiss revealed that this was the catalyst to get everything going. The idea for the tour first came up, and then it culminated in their showdown on August 3rd Delayed.
