The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Sri Lanka has surpassed 250,000 after 1,086 patients were discovered today.
The Department of Health’s Epidemiology said there are currently 31,367 people in multiple facilities across the board Country to be treated for the coronavirus.
This morning 2,172 people who had recovered from COVID-19 were discharged from hospitals, bringing the number of recoveries in the country to 216,840.
