« Duck Dynasty » star Sadie Robertson gave birth to her first child on Tuesday with husband Christian Huff, a daughter named Honey James Huff.
Robertson, 23, shared cute snaps from the hospital on Thursday With the headline, “And we saw a million little miracles yesterday – the best is this girl here … honey – the pure goodness of God. Story to come, but I’m way too busy with cuteness right now. 11/5/21 ”
Huff also shared intimate photos of Honey’s first few moments, titled » Welcome to the world, sweet honey girl. «
Former competitor of » Dancing with the Stars « teased her baby’s name on Instagram last month and stated that it was significant to her and her husband because it came from Proverbs 16:24.
« I have always loved this verse, » she wrote. “It made me love the idea of everything honey. It is a sweet delicacy with a powerful medicinal component. When Christian and I met, we were going through the Book of Proverbs together, and I remember getting to chapter 16. As I read verse 24, I said to him, “You have words like honey. They are so sweet and healing places in my heart that I didn’t even know needed to be healed. «
She added, » On our first date we went pottery together and I just wrote ‘honey’ (wipe) on my mug because I called him the boy with the honey words. Two and a half years later, fast forward and us have a daughter on the way who we can proudly name after one of the most beautiful words, not to mention that word that reminds me of my great-grandmother calling everyone she loves, honey. «
The couple announced Robertson’s pregnancy in October and later revealed the baby’s gender with an elaborate party.
