US Surgeon General Vivek Murthy said Monday he was “deeply concerned” about Florida – where COVID-19 cases have hit record highs – and other states where infections are on the rise.

Florida is currently the leader in the country with more than 10,000 coronavirus patients Per capita hospital admissions related to COVID-19.
The Sunshine State also set a daily record for new coronavirus cases on Saturday with more than 21,000 registered infections.
