The India Meteorological Department (IMD) said on Monday for Delhi and adjacent areas rain of light to moderate intensity, accompanied by thunderstorms, for today.

Earlier this month, senior scientist Dr. RK Jenamani from IMD said that in September Delhi recorded the highest rainfall in 77 years with 390 mm of rainfall.
He also announced that the national capital recorded the highest 24-hour rainfall in 121 years this year.
