The largest private hospital ship in the world, Global Mercy, will enter the port of Antwerp on Sunday, September 12th.
The ship passed the Suez Canal with no problems after it left the shipyard in China in late July had left and had successfully completed the mandatory sea trials, according to a press release from the port.
As a token of gratitude for the help that the floating hospital will provide on the African continent over the next year, the ship did not have to go for the Pay for passage through the channel.
