CM – Three Aussies in the Olympic javelin final

Reigning world champion Kelsey-Lee Barber has led a group of three Australians into the women's Olympic javelin final.

Reigning World Champion Kelsey-Lee Barber regained her mojo just in time to lead three Australians to the women’s javelin finals at the Tokyo Olympics.

Barber struggled to keep up with his form throughout the year , which secured her Australia’s only gold medal at the 2019 World Cup in Doha.

In the first two rounds of the qualifying competition on Tuesday, she looked completely upset and seemed certain that she would be eliminated early.

But Barber was able to lift herself in the last lap with her best litter of the year, a 62.59 meter performance, whereby she qualified third overall for the final on Friday.

To her in the final The reigning Commonwealth Champion Kathryn Mitchell (61.85 m) and the unannounced MacKenzie Little, who has thrown a PB of 62.37 m, join them.
