Three people died in a two-vehicle car accident in central west New South Wales.
Emergency services responded to reports of a two-vehicle accident on the Mid Western Highway near Woodstock, 35 km from Cowra away, around 4 p.m. Thursday.
A crime scene has been set up and investigations into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing.
The Mid Western Highway is closed in both directions near Purcell Dr in Woodstock , and motorists are encouraged to avoid the area.
Light vehicles are diverted onto Walli Road, Belabula Way, and Werribee Road, while heavy vehicles are recommended to use Binni Creek Road and Belabula Way.
