BERLIN: Borussia Dortmund coach Marco Rose says he will do everything possible to keep Jude Bellingham and Erling Braut Haaland in the Bundesliga, as the young stars are attracting the attention of the top European clubs after an impressive partnership on itself.

Dortmund, third in Germany’s top division, welcomes Union Berlin on Sunday to be able to build on its winning streak of four games, including a 2-1 victory in the Champions League on Wednesday at Besiktas, where Bellingham was the man of the game.

The English midfielder, who turned 18 in June, scored the opening goal with an excellent finish, then stormed through the defense and set up Haaland (21), who will be his 21st champions League goal in 17 games.

Haaland’s contract expires in 2024, a year ahead of Bellingham, but both are targets for Europe’s top clubs, so Rose has to keep asking questions about transfer speculation.

« The both guys (Haaland and Bellingham) are currently players with us … everything else is just rumors, « said Rose.

» I’ll do everything I can to make sure they stay, « added Rose, who pondered it whether she should « bind » her to new contracts.

Haaland has scored 66 goals in 66 games for Dortmund, but next year a release clause will be active in his contract, which means that he will pay 75 million euros (88 Million US dollars).

The magazine Sport Bild claims that Dortmund already have Chelsea striker Timo Werner at the top of their list as a replacement.

Wolfsburg remains the front runner if it has five wins out of five on Sunday League games at home against Eintracht Frankfurt.

After his Champions League win in Barcelona in the middle of the week, Bayern Munich, who placed second in their first meeting since 2009/10, is home favorite against Bochum.

Bayern go with the News that the German midfielders Many Leon Goretzka and Joshua Kimmich have extended their contracts into the game.

Bochum’s trainer Thomas Reis says the club had « waited eleven years for a game like this », but the guests have to retire after their recent defeats against Hertha Berlin and Cologne improve drastically in order to avoid a heavy defeat in the Allianz Arena.

Bottom of the table Greuther Fürth would be ugly happy about a win at Hertha Berlin on Friday, who replaced them at the bottom of the table.

« We have Conceded eight goals in our last two away games and didn’t have to win a beauty contest in their own half, « said Fürth’s coach Stefan Leitl stop, four days after Bayern were beaten 4-1 at home.

Due to the goal difference, Leipzig is only among the last three after losing three of the first four league games, which Ch eftrainer Jesse Marsch puts pressure.

The 33-year-old striker has found a new life at Union Berlin, where he has effectively partnered with Nigerian striker Taiwo Awoniyi, who scored in the first three league games.

The 24-year-old Awoniyi says he learned a lot when he played alongside Kruse, who last played for Germany six years ago.

In contrast to Dortmund, Union is in the Bundesliga with one this season Win and three undefeated draws, but while Haaland and Bellingham are in the spotlight, Kruse and Awoniyi could surprise the guests.
