CM – Tokyo Paralympic Village Affected by Two More Coronavirus Cases in 2020

Two more athletes tested positive for coronavirus in the Paralympic Village, new numbers from Tokyo 2020 have confirmed.

The nameless people are the first cases identified in the residential complex since August 26, after two No reports were reported for days.

The two cases brought the total in the Paralympic Village to 15, including seven athletes.

The others were game-related personnel who were members of the International Olympic Committee, the International Paralympic Committees (IPC), the National Olympic Committees, the National Paralympic Committees and the International Federations.

Tokyo 2020 reported 11 cases today, including two athletes, one staff involved in the Games, one media representative and seven contractors.

The total number of cases in connection with the Paralympics is now 230 since August 12th.

Of these, 12 are athletes, 44 are employees involved in the game employees, 15 media representatives, 11 Tokyo 2020 employees, 143 contractors and five volunteers.

A total of 36 people, including 16 athletes, tested positive in the Olympic Village from July 1st to August 21st.
