The Spurs were dangerous in the first half but they took their chances not and a great tactical change from Thomas Tuchel at half time set up an excellent second half for Chelsea.

Goals from Thiago Silva, N’Golo Kante and Antonio Rüdiger did the damage as Chelsea continue to lose title information. As for Tottenham, well, their inability to create clear chances persists and they have faded a lot in this London derby.

Final score Tottenham vs. Chelsea: Defenders attack when the Blues wakes up

Moyes: « My choice and my decision » to take cold Sub Noble …

Hugo Lloris: 7 – Two good stops against Alonso and Silva. The best player in the Spurs. That says it all.

Emerson Royal: 6 – Looked restless on the ball and Alonso gave it a hot time.

Cristian Romero: 6 – Started the game well but tired like most of the Spurs players. Deposed late.

Eric Dier: 6 – Bad luck with the distraction for Kant’s goal. Otherwise it worked out well.

Sergio Reguilon: 6 – Picked the wrong pass in a breakaway group in the first half. Doesn’t look confident.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg: 6 – Seen a lot of the ball in the first half. Overrun by Kante in the second run.

Tanguy Ndombele: 5 – Some noticeable touches, but also in possession. Dropped off and looked tired.

Dele Alli: 5 – See above. Neither he nor Ndombele could live with the pace of Chelsea’s midfield three.

Harry Kane: 5 – Started well and played some good balls into the box. Hardly represented in the second half.

Heung-min Son: 5 – See above. Both Kane and Son seem to have no match fitness.

Substitute Bryan Gil (62 ′ for Lo Celso): 6 – A few good runs but a lot of time spent on defense.
Oliver Skipp (62 ′ for Ndombele): 6 – He did his best to fill the gaps, but it was tough.
Davinson Sanchez (83 ′ for Romero): N / A

Andreas Christensen: 8 – Sensational presentation. Almost a goal in the first half. Good on the ball and won the ball against Kane.

Thiago Silva: 8 – Great header for his goal. Almost got one too. The defense held together with ease.

Antonio Rüdiger: 7 – A couple of surging runs forward. Stable and late a rare goal.

Kai Havertz: 6 – Made itself felt when it was moved centrally. Other than that, pretty calm.

Romelu Lukaku: 6 – It just wasn’t his day. A couple of good runs but in the end I couldn’t choose the right pass.

Replacement
N’Golo Kante (45 ′ for Mount): 8 – Helped the swing game in Chelsea’s favor. Scored a rare goal and won the ball back so many times.
Timo Werner (70 ′ for Havertz): 6 – Lively as ever in a short cameo. Missed some great chances but prepared Rüdiger for his goal.
