The body of an eight-year-old boy who was vacationing with his family in Western Australia was found by police divers.
He and his family had camped at Fernhook Falls near Walpole when he was alone last weekend was kayaking.
The Superintendent of the Great Southern District, Kim Travers, said on Sunday that the « complex recovery operation » resulted in his body being found.
« The recovery would be without mutual trust and the respect of the family who stayed on site during this rescue operation was not possible, « he said in a statement.
It previously turned out that the boy was playing on his kayak when he was missing – the light blue one Boot was found trapped under a log shortly afterwards.
