Two men have died after the light aircraft they were on crashed in bushland on the Sunshine Coast on Wednesday.
An inter-agency search was initiated around 5:30 p.m. in Peachester, near the Glasshouse Mountains when a Cessna 150 was reported overdue to return to Maroochydore Airport.
Initial investigations indicate that the plane crashed in the bushland along Commissioners Flat Road and was found around 8:30 p.m.
Two men , a 30-year-old from the northern Brisbane region and a 46-year-old from the Sunshine Coast region, were found dead at the scene.
