Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has refused to go admit the future of striker Tammy Abraham, but it turns out he could be a key pawn in an extravagant summer transfer plan for the defeated FA Cup finalists.
Abraham established himself as a key player among coaches last season Frank Lampard. The club’s transfer embargo ensured that young actors were given the chance to shine.
But Abraham got lost in recent months, and Timo Werner, Kai Havertz and Olivier Giroud are in the eye-catching pecking order for Chef Tuchel him.
Now there is expectation that Abraham will play a big role for Chelsea this summer, but only to compensate for possible transfers as the club look to reshape the squad that Tuchel inherited from Lampard in January.
Callum Hudson-Odoi (below) is another player who is likely to generate interest this summer. Bayern Munich are not trying to sign a player who fell out of favor under Tuchel in the last few weeks of 2020.
It has now been found that both Abraham and Hudson-Odoi could be offered as make-weights in big money deals for top transfer targets this summer. Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland is high on the wanted list of the Blues.
Chelsea’s zeal towards Norwegian striker Haaland has not been masked by Stamford Bridge insiders, and while his club is keen to keep him, it is from the Champions League finalists expects to sign the most wanted striker in Europe.
They were also linked to a move to bring Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku back to Chelsea from Inter Milan, while Portuguese striker Andre Silva, who has been with Eintract Frankfurt this season is also on the shortlist of strikers Chelsea are considering.
Offering Abraham or Hudson-Odoi as part of a contract to sign a new striker can help simplify the contract while keeping the future Abrahams will be discussed at the recent press conference by Tuchel.
Chelsea will face again on Tuesday evening Leicester in a battle at Stamford Bridge where the Blues need a win to keep their Top 4 Premier League bid on track.
And the upcoming Champions League final on May 29th Tuchel is not in the mood to let the collective eyes be distracted by the most urgent prices.

When asked why Abraham missed something on Saturday, Tuchel replied: « Well, it’s just the number of people I can nominate for a game.
» I’ve made up my mind, Timo Werner to start in the ninth role, so we had Kai Havertz and Olivier Giroud on the bench, so we decided not to have nine nines on the bench. That’s it, it’s never personal.
« If Mateo Kovacic and Andreas Christensen maybe get back into the squad, I have to find out the squad and maybe eliminate two more players.
« This is the worst day and the worst decision for me in the whole week. Because since I came here, everyone deserves to be in the squad.
« I understand his frustration and it wasn’t the first time, and we have other people in front of us with the same situation.
» This is not the moment to complain, and this is not the time to explain too much, this is the time Moment just to live in the moment. These are the two crucial weeks of the entire season. “
