CM – UnaBiz raises $ 25 million to fund Series B

The regional IoT technology provider will use the funds to strengthen its position in key markets and develop new products and services.

Singapore-based Internet of Things (IoT) technology provider UnaBiz has raised $ 25 million from top investors in Japan, Taiwan and Thailand in a Series B financing round.

UnaBiz said , The funds will be used to strengthen its position in key markets such as Japan, Southeast Asia and Europe through local offices and through mergers and acquisitions. It will also use the injection of capital to fuel the growth of its UnaConnect data platform, which bridges the gap between IoT data capture technologies and enterprise systems.

In addition to water and gas metering UnaBiz successful in asset tracking where its technology is used by the Australian Konvoy group to monitor 70,000 kegs in Australia and New Zealand. In Singapore, an educational institution is using UnaBiz’s technology for a facility management project.

Since the focus is on sustainability issues, UnaBiz will also use the Series B funding to add new offers such as energy-optimized sensors and pattern recognition with artificial intelligence
